European newspapers focused on highlighting the Champions League draw, which took place today, Thursday, and resulted in an easy group for Real Madrid, the defending champion, and a fiery group for Barcelona.


Real Madrid fell in Group F along with Leipzig, Shakhtar and Celtic, while Barcelona came in the fiery third group alongside Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Victoria Plzen.

As for Liverpool, the runners-up came in Group A alongside Ajax, Napoli and Rangers, while Manchester City came in Group G alongside Seville, Dortmund and Copenhagen.

Chelsea are in Group E alongside AC Milan, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb, while Tottenham are in Group D with Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille.

Paris Saint-Germain collides with Juventus in Group H, which also includes Benfica and Maccabi Haifa. In Group B, Porto, Atletico Madrid, Leverkusen and Club Brugge come.

'British battle'

The headline of the British newspaper, "The Sun": "Liverpool faces Rangers in a huge British battle, with Chelsea, Man City and Spurs avoiding the adults in the Champions League draw."

And the newspaper added, “Man City gets a difficult draw in the Champions League, with Haaland returning to Germany, and Spurs gets the dream draw.”

As for the newspaper "Daily Mail", it titled: "Spurs receive the dream lottery in their return to the top of the European table.. Liverpool is facing the difficult test.. Chelsea faces Milan and Halland returns to Dortmund."

"Group of Death"

In turn, the newspaper "Marca" wrote: "Good luck for Madrid and Atletico, and death groups for Barca and Seville."
