Tuchel on the de Jong deal: It has no place!

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has decided his position on signing a midfielder in the last days of the summer transfer market.

"We have Jorginho, Kante, Loftus Schick, Gallagher, Kovacic, some of them are injured yes, but we have no place for another midfielder," Tuchel said, after the 3-0 loss against Leeds United in the Premier League, when asked about the possibility of signing another midfielder.

The Catalan newspaper, "Sport", indicated that Chelsea fans on social networking sites demanded the inclusion of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong because of the need for him and the necessity of his presence in the ranks of the Blues.

And the newspaper reported, that Chelsea is currently focusing on the inclusion of a striker because the offensive line lacks a sniper, and therefore there are strong negotiations with Pierre Aubameyang, the Blaugrana striker.
